Welcome to the Men's Golf Club at The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley. At over 120+ strong we meet weekly on Wednesdays for various individual and team events. Enjoy competition and comradery with avid golfers of all skill levels.
The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley is located in Sun City, a 55+ community of 2,500 homes and a championship level golf course (among many amenities). The Views is aptly named with impressive views of the western ramparts of the Santa Catalina mountains. With multiple tee boxes and rated combos you'll have just the right challenge.
A grass driving range, and comprehensive short game area (with bunker) will allow to warm up or hone your game.
Our Pro Shop staff, starters, and rangers are all focused on you having a great golf experience.
The Views restaurant is adjacent to the course and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with prime views of the mountains. An outdoor covered terrace (with heaters and misters) is a great place to hang after a round. A full bar, and menu will satisfy you any time of day. As a bonus every Friday and Saturday from 4-7 (check ahead) free music offered on the terrace with sitting on the grass. You may BYOB if you sit on the grass! A variety of local artists of all genres play, with selection 55+ friendly.
While the Club is mostly Sun City residents and members, we love outside blood from the surrounding area.
2026 Club Events Overview
The Men’s 18-Hole Golf Club offers a full calendar of Wednesday events, Major Tournaments, and BASH Lunches throughout the season. Membership includes eligibility for:
Weekly Wednesday morning Club Events
Earning participation points to qualify for Major Tournaments
Attendance at BASH Lunches and Club meetings
Entry into the annual Hole-in-One Prize Pool
Inclusion in the season-long Participation Points Race
2026 Weekly Events
37 Weekly Club Events of various individual and team formats
4 BASH Lunches with Club Meeting and Raffles
5 Major Events
The Season-Long Points Chase
The Season-Long Points Chase recognizes members who consistently support Club events. Points are used both to qualify for Major Tournaments and to reward overall participation. This benefit is open to all active members in good standing at the end of the 2026 season.
Participation Points (PP)
Scoring is tracked through Golf Genius, which links directly to GHIN
Attendance at BASH Lunches is tracked manually from the roster
To earn points, members must complete the event, have their score accepted, and (for BASH) attend the lunch after paying the fee
Points are awarded once results are posted in Golf Genius
Points Breakdown
2 points – BASH Lunch & Club Meeting attendance
3 points – Weekly Men’s Club events
7 points – Major Events
10 points – Holding a Board or Committee position
Payouts
The Season-Long Points Race Prize Pool will be funded by a portion of annual membership dues. Prizes will be awarded at the first Club meeting of 2027.
Each eligible member receives 1 raffle ticket per 10 PP earned (e.g., 62 PP = 6 tickets)
Five (5) winners will be drawn, each receiving $200 cash
A member may not win more than one prize
Hole-in-One Prize Pool
Participation requires a $10 buy-in at the start of the season
Only holes-in-one scored at The Views Golf Club by participating members are eligible
The prize pool is divided equally among qualifying members
If no hole-in-one occurs during the season, the pool rolls over to the following year
For 2026, the Club will seed the prize pool with $250
Payouts will be awarded at the first Club meeting of 2027
Verification Requirements
To qualify, members must submit:
Completed scorecard
Hole number and club used
Name of the player making the shot
Name of at least one Men’s 18-Hole Golf Club member or SCOV resident who witnessed the shot
